IN MEMORIAM
Hear me when I call, O God hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer - Psalm 4:1 KJV
O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in
all the earth! - Psalm 8:9 KJV
OUR BELOVED FAMILY MEMBERS
The death of loved ones often causes sorrow and grief for the family and relatives left behind. The healing process comes with reflection on scripture. Faith in God can significantly help with the healing process as Bible verses through centuries have been used to bring comfort during a tragedy. The Bible has plenty of meaningful verses to comfort the grieving and we want to give you a list of some Bible verses about the loss of loved ones:
COMFORTING SCRIPTURES
Revelation 21:4 KJV
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Psalm 34:18 KJV
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psalm 147:3 NIV

Matthew 5:1-3 NIV
Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them. He said: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Psalm 73:26 NIV
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Matthew 5:4 NIV
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 NKJV
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep,
lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NKJV
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
AMEN!
COMFORTING SCRIPTURES
2 Corinthians 5:8 NKJV
We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
Romans 14:8 NKJV
For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
John 14:1-3 NIV
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me.
2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Joshua 1:9 NIV
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged,
for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
Romans 8:28 KJV
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love God to them who are called
according to his purpose.
1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 NIV
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.
John 11:25-26 NIV
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
1 Corinthians 15:42-44 NIV
So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; and it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
AMEN!
