THE MGMR FAMILY REUNIONS
The first reunion of the Mishoe, Gardner, Moore & Rawls, came into being during the summer of 1984. Mrs. Joan Mishoe Giles made the suggestion, and she and the late Dr. Luna I. Mishoe started our family tradition. We are all very thankful for their vision and sense of family. Let's continue to pray for our family and ensure our future generations keep the torch burning bright.

Dear Beloved Mishoe, Gardner, Moore, Rawls Family!
First, let us say "thank you" for your diligence in taking care of your health and that of your family members and communities, as we all try to work through the past several weeks. We can only imagine all that each of you are juggling in your daily lives. These are unprecedented times! Undoubtedly, for most of us, every day has been one of ups and downs, highs and lows, but we certainly hope this letter will find you safe, well, and at peace. Our thanks go out to each of our family members and all others who are on the front lines under the most unimaginable of conditions. We will continue to lift you all up in fervent prayer.
We are now in a national emergency, a global pandemic! The rapid spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) has become a major concern for all of us. In light of the fluidity and uncertainty of the next several weeks and months, it has been decided that the MGMR 2020/2021 Family Reunion was cancelled due to continued COVID 19 restrictions. More information to follow for the Family Reunion Summer 2022, back home in Bucksport, SC.
A telephone conference call was held with Planning Committee members on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 7:00pm. Those participating on the call were Joan Mishoe Giles, Bernellyn Mishoe Carey, Lynne Carey Mason, Andrea Rena Mishoe, Daryl Mishoe, Henry Mishoe, Lynn Mishoe, Wilma Mishoe, and Rita Mishoe Paige. A formal vote was taken which yielded the above-mentioned decision.
Our intended host hotel, The Hilton Garden Inn of Dover, has been officially notified that we will not be using their facilities this summer. If you have already made reservations, please contact them to cancel your reservations. There will be no penalty or charge for your cancellation, and they are looking forward to serving us next year. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Rev. Rita Mishoe Paige. Further details will be made and communicated at a later time.
Again, we thank you for your patience and your understanding as we work through these most difficult times. Please feel free to communicate with any of us on the Planning Committee. We want to know how you are doing, and/or if you have any special requests. Remember, "we are all in this together." You are invited for Family Prayer on Tuesday evenings at 7:15PM.
