Greetings MGMR Family & Friends:
Welcome to our MGMR Family Website. Last year we transitioned from our private website on shutterfly.com, which is no longer active. It is time for a change and a more enchanced way to provide and share family information and be more interactive. We are excited we have a new digital home for all things related to our family reunion. We can't wait for other amazing things this family is going to do and see.
This is the official event planning and reunion site for the MGMR Family Reunion. We are aware of our African American Heritage, with our ancestry originating from the Bucksport/Conway, South Carolina area. We are all descendants of the Reverend John Wesley Mishoe I. Please mark your calendars for the upcoming family reunion, August 9th - August 11th, 2024 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Many thanks to the host family, members of the planning committees and volunteers to ensure we have a loving, safe and successful family reunion. We are also planning to live stream and record as much of the family reunion as possible, especially for our family members that aren't able to attend. This family website is dedicated to keeping the family updated and informed about our family reunions as a one-stop shop where all of our information will be stored and accessible. We understand that our other means of communication may sometimes be missed. If family reunion information needs to be corrected or updated, the website is the only source that requires updates (as opposed to printing and mailing updates or sending multiple emails with updates and corrections). We will continue to communicate by mail on a limited basis to our beloved elders.
As you review our new site, a few pages will remain private & will be password protected. To view those pages, you will have to request access to receive a unique password. Fortunately, the majority of the pages will remain visible to everyone, to allow greater family connection, information sharing with our family members and for those that are not on social media platforms.
While you are here and prayerfully enjoying the family history information, please let us know if there are any changes, inaccurate information or edits that are required. Our Web Page Content Administrators will be more than happy to make those changes as promptly as possible.
